In 2003, Ed Susman found himself learning to tune in order to improve the performance of his Subaru WRX while a student at University. Soon, friends within the Subaru community were becoming happy customers, and the rest is history.
In 2008, Ed decided to expand Equilibrium Tuning into a Full Service Installation, Tuning, and Maintenance Facility in Fairfield, CA. Since opening the shop, Equilibrium Tuning has experienced consistent growth and continues to improve and develop innovative services and products. We now support Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Porsche and Toyota other platforms in addition to Subaru.
Following the Covid-19 Pandemic, EQT made the decision to close down the service department, and no longer take on vehicle installation and maintenance work. We continue to work on providing world-class calibrations for a variety of platforms, and our R&D department continues to design and manufacture lots of in-house hardware.
