EQT Wastegate Actuator Harness Extension for EA888.3 Engines

When installing a new turbo or electric wastegate into your MQB vehicle, setting the correct wastegate voltage is critical. Unfortunately, the location of the turbocharger in the engine bay can make this more difficult, due to the position of the wastegate actuator.  In order to overcome this hindrance, we’ve produced wastegate extension harnesses that are plug and play, giving you enough room to install the wastegate and make the adjustments you need while the turbo is uninstalled from the vehicle.

• Our 3' harness gives the user enough room to install a wastegate when the turbo is not installed in the vehicle. 
• Troubleshoot a possible wastegate issue while easily visually inspecting the wastegate operation. 
• Save time and effort by putting the turbo into an accessible position while being able to read wastegate voltage in real time through the diagnostic program of your choice. 

Installation:

• Connect the male end of our EQT extension harness to the wastegate electrical connector in the car 
• Connect the female end of our EQT extension harness to the wastegate installed on your turbo on the bench  
• Start the diagnosis program of your choice 
• Turn the ignition to the accessory position and set the voltage of your wastegate or activate your wastegate to troubleshoot your issue.
