You will need to use your own Cobb Holster and ball attachment. These are not included.
The CJM Industries Cobb™ mount is designed to fit left hand drive MK7 GTI's & R's. It replaces the vent slats in the left center AC vent with a panel and clamping arm to mount a Cobb™ holster.
Since this product is attached to the dashboard, it will vibrate at idle depending on your engine/tune/motor mount modifications. If your car already vibrates at idle, this holder will also vibrate.
Each vent pod is crafted from ABS composite 3D printed plastic to withstand cracking, fading, and warping while still giving your car a custom fit and finish. All pods come in a satin black finish. They can easily be sanded and painted with a rattle can for a custom color. Includes all necessary mounting hardware.Each order includes:
- 1 - clamping arm
- 1 - vent panel
- 1 - set of hardware
- Install sheet
Cobb holster and wiring are not included.
Why 3D printed?
This makes the end product cheaper for the customer while still maintaining the same level of fit with a small sacrifice in the finish (which can become a show quality finish with sanding and paint). Printing allows minor adjustments and custom requests to be offered in a significantly shorter lead time.
